Timberland Coffee Company is located on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Our company provides coffee distribution and coffee services to hotel's, restaurants, convenience store and professional offices. 

Owners Mary Frances and David Dougherty are seasoned brokers of coffee and allied products.  David Dougherty's family comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and the family has been in the coffee business since 1956.  With their first operation located in northeastern Pennsylvania the family operated a dairy business in the early 1940s and in 1952 expanded their dairy business by selling their products through vending machines.  In 1956 the company expanded their vending company to offer confections, cold beverages, coffee, and cafeteria services through vending machines to industrial & manufacturing establishments as well as providing coffee services to their administrative offices. . 

With the growth of professional office operations in northeastern PA, the family expanded and in 1969 created Coffee Service Inc. to meet the needs of small to midsize offices.  The family now has operations serving professional offices, hotels, convenience stores & restaurants throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.

Both Mary and David moved to Williamsport in 2001 and quickly realize an opportunity to expand the family's business presence in central Pennsylvania. Wanting to develop a company that was reminiscent of the cultural heritage of the Susquehanna Valley Mary and David created an affiliated corporation known as Timberland Coffee Company and Coffee Services. 

Both Mary and David combined have over 45 years of customer service experience and David has a strong sales/service support background in both the domestic and international marketplace.
